This privacy policy explains how AB Consulting handles personal data when you visit www.consultant4companies.com, contact our team or request a consulting proposal. It covers this website and related enquiries; a client engagement may also have its own data-protection terms.
1. Who to contact
AB Consulting is the contact responsible for personal data collected through this website. For a privacy question or to exercise your rights, email paris@consultant4companies.com or write to AB Consulting, 50 rue Leibniz, 75018 Paris, France. Telephone: +33 1 42 28 71 16.
2. Information collected
When you use a contact or proposal form, we receive the information you provide, such as your name, business email, company, telephone number, selected service and message. Required fields are marked on the form; without the information needed to respond, we may be unable to process your enquiry. Please send only information relevant to your request and avoid sensitive personal data or confidential client files in an initial message.
The website and its technical services may also process your IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, timestamps and security events. Cookies and similar technologies are discussed below. If you comment on an article, WordPress processes the comment, name, email and relevant technical information. Approved comments and the name you choose may be public; your email is not displayed as part of the comment.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
We use enquiry information to understand your needs, respond and prepare a proposal. Where you request steps towards a contract with you, the legal ground is those pre-contractual steps. For enquiries made on behalf of a company, our legitimate interest is managing professional correspondence and developing relevant business relationships.
We process technical information to operate, maintain and protect the website, based on our legitimate interest in service availability and preventing abuse. We process records required by law on the basis of the relevant legal obligation. Where consent is required, particularly for optional trackers or electronic marketing, that consent must be obtained separately. Reading this policy, browsing the website or sending an enquiry does not itself give consent to advertising or newsletters.
4. Who receives the information
Information may be accessed by authorised AB Consulting team members handling your enquiry and service providers supporting website hosting, email delivery, forms, maintenance and security. The site uses WordPress, WPForms, Hostinger services and Wordfence. Providers receive information relevant to their role. Public comments are visible to other visitors. Disclosure may also be necessary to comply with a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
5. Cookies, advertising and external services
The website includes Google Tag Manager, analytics tags, Google AdSense, Google Funding Choices and Google reCAPTCHA integrations. Depending on the service and your choices, these tools can process device identifiers, browsing information and technical signals for audience measurement, advertising, consent management or protection against automated abuse. Tag Manager can load other configured tags; its presence alone does not identify every processing operation.
Strictly necessary cookies support functions such as login, security and requested language preferences. Optional advertising and analytics trackers that require consent must not be activated before you agree. Where a consent interface is shown, use it to accept or refuse optional purposes and revisit your choice. You can also manage stored cookies in your browser; blocking necessary cookies may affect some functions. Browser settings and advertising opt-out tools do not replace a valid consent mechanism on this website.
Google explains its processing in its privacy policy and information about partner sites. The Google Analytics opt-out add-on is an additional control. Social-media links lead to external services, including Facebook and Instagram; consult their policies and Facebook settings when using those services. Embedded videos or other external media may send technical information to the provider when loaded. If Gravatar is enabled for comments, a hash of your email may be sent to that service; hashing does not make the identifier anonymous. See Automattic’s privacy policy.
6. How long information is kept
Enquiry information is kept for the time needed to respond and manage relevant follow-up. If a project proceeds, relevant records become part of the engagement file. Contractual, accounting and dispute records are retained for the applicable legal retention or limitation period, with access restricted where appropriate.
Published comments remain with the relevant discussion unless removed following moderation or a justified request. Technical logs are retained according to the operational and security needs of the service concerned; information needed to investigate an incident may be retained for that investigation and any related proceedings. Cookie lifetimes vary by provider and purpose. Contact us for the retention details applicable to your particular information.
7. International processing
Hosting, communications and third-party services can involve processing outside your country and potentially outside the European Economic Area. Any access from Indonesia to personal data originating in the European Economic Area also needs to be assessed as an international transfer. Where the GDPR applies, such transfers require a valid legal mechanism, such as an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards, and any additional measures necessary. Contact us for details of the recipients, destinations and safeguards applicable to your enquiry.
8. Your rights
Subject to the applicable conditions, you can request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and object at any time to direct marketing. Data portability applies where processing is automated and based on your consent or a contract. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Send your request to paris@consultant4companies.com and describe the information concerned. We may ask for proportionate evidence of identity if necessary. Under the GDPR, requests normally receive a response within one month; a permitted extension must be explained. You may complain to the French supervisory authority, the CNIL, or another competent authority. You do not have to contact us first to lodge a complaint.
9. Security and professional confidentiality
Access controls, website security tools and service-provider arrangements support the protection of personal data. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. For sensitive business documents, contact us first to agree a suitable exchange method. The contractual confidentiality of a consulting engagement is distinct from the personal-data rights described here.
10. Updates and further information
We update this page when the website’s processing or the relevant information changes. The date above identifies this version. An update is not a request for blanket consent. For an enquiry about our services, use our contact page. Official guidance on transparency and cookies is available from the CNIL.
